Clear Framework Cache

Changes to OAF page components sometimes do not get reflected in the environment, for example a page that has been updated using jdeveloper and deployed in the instance using XmlImporter utility may not show up the changes once the user is logged into applications. Clearing framework cache is the solution for this instead of a bounce of mid-tier services.

Here are the steps to clear the cache in OAF:

• Ensure 'Functional Administrator' responsibility is added to the applications user logged in.
• Navigate to 'Core Services' tab and then Global Configuration. Click on 'Clear All Cache' button as per the below screen shot and Apply the changes.

• Log off and Log in to the applications for the changes to take effect.
